Professor Dzulkifli Abdul Razak the president of International Islamic University Malaysia was the guest of Institute of Islamic Thought. The lecture on The Humanization of Education given by Prof. Razak took place with a large turnout on January 30, 2023. 

The conference started with the opening speech by Prof. Mehmet Görmez, and continued with IDE International Department Coordinator Yousef Al-Qurashi’s short presentation of IDE’s activities. Subsequently, the “Sejahtera” model which aims to humanize education as a sustainable and balanced educational model developed by International Islamic University Malaysia was introduced by Assoc. Prof. Zainal Abidin bin Sanusi.

Professor Dzulkifli Abdul Razak gave a stimulating lecture on the subject of “Humanization of Education” which constitutes the basis of this model. During his speech, he detailed how education can be humanized in the context of the “Sejahtera Model” on the basis of humanitarian and ecological crises in the world. He focused on the solution opportunities and means that can be realized through Sejahtera Model which covers the physical, intellectual, emotional and spiritual needs of human beings.
